Very poor real estate. Originally tired to contact Yvonne Derose on several occasions and never heard back from her at all, ended up having to stop at the main office to get a showing on a house. Then the week of closing they pushed closing back because in the month and a half that we had been working with them "no one could come out" to the house to mark the corners of the property off till then, and then when called on this matter they lied 3 times in a rows about why it took so long. We worked with a younger guys just starting off who pushed every problem we called on saying it was up to Yvonne. But we didn't even meet or hear from Yvonne but for only a minute at the closing when she was pushing for us to sign a warranty that we called and told them we didn't want it cause it would cover anything in our new home. Very sneaky people, in glad I got my house but I will never work with them again.
I worked with Greg Morris for over a year to find the perfect Up North cottage for my family. He was always very courteous, responsive, and patient. He kept me up-to-date on the listings over this period of time.
We've been using it for over a year now and couldn't be happier with our purchase. I've even started working with him again to find vacant land that's for sale. I highly recommend working with Greg Morris if buying or selling a house in the West Branch area.
We recently had a house for sale, that due to the market and the higher price bracket of the home for this area, we were sure would take several years to sell. Due to fantastic internet marketing, we were able to sell our home, in less than a year, to a family looking to relocate, from the "big" city. Had the house not been listed online, we would most likely still be there. Good job Morris-Richardson for understanding what diligent web marketing can do for your clients. I would also like to say that this is the first agency we have dealt with, that provided expedient feedback every time they, or another realtor, showed our home. I would recommend listing with this agency if you are interested in selling your home.
This has to be the most unprofessional Real Estate agency that I ever had to deal with. Christine Thibault, the agent, solicited me to show my home to a potential buyer. Keep in mind that my home isn't even on the market. We explained to her that we have renters in it now, and they want to purchase it. She explains that she has a couple that would love to see it on Sunday at 10 am.. We explained that our renters are hard to get a hold of because their hard workers, and they will be heart broken to hear that we are showing it to a potential buyer.. She talked us into it and said these buyers are real interested. We finally got a hold of the renters after several calls to them at their place of employment, and left them several messages because they work on the road where there is little phone reception. Heart broken, but they did agree to be there to show the home Sunday at 10 am. We contact Christine Thibault to tell her the good news and she was very rude . She said that her schedule is too full for us that day. We even emailed her Friday night and told her that we will keep trying to reach the renters and call her in the morning.. She replied- OK.. After I told her how upset me and my wife were, she told me that she wouldn't sell my house if I was the last person on earth. If this is the kind of treatment that is given when you are doing them a favor, could you imagine how poorly treated a seller would be treated... At 7% commission do yourself a favor and save 1% and get a real realtor. I really regret that I had to give them ONE star!!
My wife and I looked at well over a dozen houses between 2 trips to the West Branch area, and he was always prompt for each trip. He worked with us during a negotiation that had hit an impasse, and even though we walked away from the house, he kept working with us until we found the one we wanted.
